The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Committee (UPSSSC) has extended the registration dates for the Junior Engineer (JE) mains exam 2024. All interested and eligible candidates who have not applied yet can submit their registration form through the official website upsssc.gov.in by July 13. Earlier, the last date to submit the application form was June 28. This is the second time the UPSSSC JE mains exam 2024 registration deadline has been extended. Initially, the last date to apply was June 7. The JE Mains exam dates will be announced by the commission once the registration procedure concludes.

UPSSSC JE recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

— Candidates applying must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university or an Intermediate certificate combined with a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering.

— Must have cleared the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 (07-Exam/2023).

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in PET 2023.

— The age limit to apply for the JE (Civil) positions in UP Government departments is 18 to 40 years. However, the candidates belonging to OBC background will get 3 years and those from SC/ST background will receive 5 years of upper age limit relaxation.

How to apply for UPSSSC JE recruitment 2024?

Step 1: Head to the official website of UPSSSC at upsssc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the link to apply for JE Main 2024 Examination and click on it.

Step 3: Fill in the application form carefully with details such as personal information and educational qualifications.

Step 4: Upload scanned copies of the required documents.

Step 5: Cross-check all the details once again and click on proceed.

Step 6: Pay the application fee and click to submit.

Step 7: Download and take a printout for future reference.

UPSSSC JE recruitment 2024: Application Fee

All the candidates have to deposit a processing fee of Rs 25 at the time of registration.

According to the official notification, the UPSSSC recruitment drive 2024 aims to fill a total of 4,016 Junior Engineer vacancies including 3,541 general selections and 28 posts for special selection. This year, the commission has increased the number of vacancies available for JE Civil.

Earlier, there were around 2,847 job openings comprising 2,819 posts for Junior Engineer/Assistant Development Officer (General) and 28 posts for Junior Engineer Civil (Special Selection). Now, UPSSSC has added 1,528 vacancies for this position.
