The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has started accepting applications for the MBA Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2024. Candidates seeking admission to MBA and MMS programmes in the state can now register online by visiting the official website at mba2024.mahacet.org.in. In addition to that, the CET cell has announced the MAH MBA counselling schedule 2024. As per the schedule, the last date to apply for the MAH MBA CAP 2024 is July 22.

The MAH MBA CAP 2024 registration process comprises online registration, uploading scanned documents, document e-verification, choice-filling and confirmation of options for preferred colleges and programmes, seat acceptance, paying seat acceptance fees and reporting to institutes.

MAH MBA CAP 2024: Counselling Schedule

–– Online registration and document uploading: July 12 to July 22 (up to 5 pm)

–– Document verification and confirmation of the application form: July 13 to July 23

–– Display of the provisional merit list: July 25, 2024

–– Submission of grievances, if any: July 26 to July 28

–– Release of the final merit list: July 30

MAH MBA Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates from Maharashtra should have qualified for at least a three-year bachelor’s degree and the MAH MBA Common Entrance Test (CET) 2024. The degree must be awarded by any of the universities recognised by the University Grants Commission, with 50 per cent aggregate marks.

Moreover, All India candidates having a bachelor’s degree and having obtained valid marks in any one of the following exams are eligible:

–– Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management

–– Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)

–– Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) conducted by Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur

–– Aptitude Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools

–– Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by the All India Management Association

–– Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council, United States of America.

MAH MBA CAP 2024: Registration Fee

Applicants who registered for MAH MBA Common Entrance Test (CET) are not required to pay any registration fee. However, other applicants are required to pay the fee given below through credit card, debit card, or net banking.

General category candidates from Maharashtra, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh migrant candidates, UT of Jammu and Kashmir, children of Indian workers in Gulf countries (CIWGC): Rs 1,200. Reserved category candidates [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC, OBC, SEBC, EWS] and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only: Rs 1,000. NRI, OCI, OIO, and FN candidates: Rs 10,000.

The counselling process is being conducted for first-year MBA, MMS programme admission in government, government-aided, university-managed departments, university-managed institutes and unaided private professional educational institutes in Maharashtra.

Admission is also held for PGDM at the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research, and Entrepreneurship Education, Mumbai, for the academic year 2024–25.
