Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the exam calendar for 9 recruitment examinations. The exam calendar will help candidates get to know their preparation plans according to the dates for which their examinations are scheduled and prove beneficial in strategy-making for the examinations. Jharkhand Staff Selection Committee will first conduct the Jharkhand Municipal Service Cadre Combined Recruitment Examination in August. The applications for JSSC recruitment examinations were open from the 23rd of March until the 6th of April online. The Jharkhand Staff Selection Committee Recruitment Examination will have two parts:

• Paper 1 General Studies, General Science, Mathematics, Reasoning, Mental ability
• Paper 2 will have questions from the relevant subject, depending on the post applied for.

This year, a total of 37,447 posts will be recruited from August to November through 9 recruitment examinations to be conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Committee. The JSSC has been established under the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Act 2008 (Jharkhand Act 16, 2008). It is the authority whose primary objective is to recommend for appointment to all the posts of Group C and Non-Gazetted General/ Technical/ Non-Technical Service/Cadres of the State Government in Group B where there is provision of direct appointment partially or in full, and selection on which is not done by JSSC. The Commission also determines the process of conducting examinations for appointment to different posts.

After the Jharkhand Municipal Service Cadre Combined Recruitment Examination, in August the Training Officer Competitive Examination will be conducted in various trades of Jharkhand Industrial Training Service.

Step 2: Go to the ‘What’s new’ section on the homepage and click on the link where the JSSC Exam Calendar 2024 is written.

Step 3: The exam calendar is on your screen, download and save a hard copy for future reference.
