The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced free training to candidates preparing for the District Selection Committee (DSC) exam, according to a statement by Andhra Pradesh Study Circle Director K Sridevi. Eligible candidates needed to submit their biodata along with copies of their Class 10 Marks List, Intermediate and Degree Marks List, TTC. Last week, the State Education Minister Nara Lokesh directed officials to conduct the Mega DSC transparently without attracting criticism. He discussed with school education officials the conduct of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and Mega DSC. The candidates had requested to allow more time between TET and Mega DSC. The minister, therefore, suggested officials seek the opinion of candidates, students and youth groups on when to conduct the DSC.

Lokesh refuted the propaganda on social media about the syllabus. He claimed that no changes had been made to the syllabus. He said the officials informed him that they would conduct the exam in July 2024 with the same syllabus with which the TET was conducted in February 2024.

Officials said that details of the syllabus can be found at https://aptet.apcfss.in. They said that no changes have been made to the syllabus. So the claim circulating on social media that the TET will be conducted with the old syllabus is not true.
