The university’s Information Public Relations Officer, Dr Rajesh Pandey, stated that the admission fee is fixed at Rs 300. More information states that the money will be sent to the J P University Collection Fund. The university staff including the professors, college principals and other employees are involved in conveying the information to the interested candidates.
Established in 1990 by the Government of Bihar, the Jai Prakash University aimed at providing quality education to the people of the Saran commissionary. The institution consists of 1 constituent college, 11 affiliated colleges and 23 proposed colleges along with 10 professional colleges. It is named after freedom fighter Jai Prakash Narayan.
According to more information, the university has four main faculties. The list includes faculty of social sciences, faculty of science, faculty of commerce and faculty of humanities. Students can apply for admission to departments of subjects like Economics, Geography, Political Science and Psychology. It also offers courses in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Physics and Agriculture. Under humanities, it offers courses in English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu and Philosophy.
